HOW LONG ARE YOUR CONTRACTS?

Simple answer. There are no contracts. My design fees are one-time only.

DO I NEED ANOTHER WEB HOST?

Nope. If you already have a web host that accepts a WordPress installation and you already have your domain name, you can keep everything where it is. I will work with your current hosting company.

WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE A HOSTING COMPANY?

Then I would be happy to take care of that for you. I would purchase hosting and domain services through GoDaddy for you using your credit or debit card account. Then I’ll and install your WordPress platform at no extra charge. However, you will need to pay monthly GoDaddy hosting fees which range from $3.50 a month to about $7.80 a month. This service often goes on sale and their prices are not under my control.

WHAT IF I WANT TO USE ANOTHER HOSTING COMPANY?

That’s OK too. Just provide your access information and I’ll install your WordPress for you at no extra charge.

DO YOU OFFER EMAIL ACCOUNTS?

Yes, through GoDaddy. You can purchase email accounts from GoDaddy. I will then set up a webmail account for you for a small fee (see Additional Services). You can also purchase a personal calendar and many other services from them. Just let me know what services you need and I’ll set them up.

DO YOU SELL DOMAINS?

Yes, through GoDaddy. You can purchase multiple domains. If you would like to start by buying a domain before you set up a website with us, you can do so here.

DO YOU OFFER STUDENT PRICING?

Well, the pricing I offer is rock bottom so that artists can afford a beautiful portfolio site to show off their work. Sorry, I can’t go any lower than my published prices.

HOW DO I SIGN UP?

Simple. (are you seeing a theme here?) You start by completing your Text and Images Checklists, and then follow the instructions at the top of the page. No buttons to push, nothing to upload, no forms to fill out. Simply email me your request along with your Text and Images checklists — I’ll take it from there.

 HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO BUILD MY SITE?

Actual production time is usually between 10-14 days. A lot depends on how prepared you are. If you followed my checklist and provided all your information at one time – then a week should do it. If it takes much longer than that it usually means you have not provided all the information I need.

WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE EVERYTHING READY?

Simple answer: It stands to reason that I cannot complete a site for you if I do not have all the materials. I will not even start a website if the artist has not completed the checklist and paid a deposit fee (1/2 of the total price). See my Terms of Service for details.

WHAT ABOUT WEBSITE MAINTENANCE?

I can certainly handle your maintenance if you wish to add, edit, or delete any materials after your site is finished — or your can do it yourself (it’s easy – I promise). I charge $50 per hour – with a minimum of 1/2 hour for all maintenance and Additional Services. Contact me if you need maintenance we we’ll discuss billing arrangements.

CAN YOU TRAIN ME TO UPDATE MY OWN SITE?

Yes! WordPress is one of the easiest platforms to navigate. I give you all the training you need to add photos, edit content, and delete pages – all through my online tutorial. If you need a little more guidance, I provide a 20-minute familiarization phone consultation at not extra charge. If you depend on me to completely train you, then please review my Additional Services fees.
